Our Recommendations

  • GO SHOPPING

If you booked your Boudoir Photography Session with us – you now have the perfect excuse to go shopping. Get the girls together and head on out to the mall or check out your local Fine Lingerie Boutique to grab that perfect piece of lingerie you’ve always wanted.

  • GET ORGANIZED

Surf the web for inspiration and find other boudoir photos that you simply love. Save them and share them with us. It’s important that your photographer knows the overall vision for your shoot.

Not all of us have access to a stylist – check out Instagram or flip through your favourite fashion magazines to discover ways to pair colours, fabrics and styles. Boudoir doesn’t always have to be about lingerie – sometimes a tight fitting T-shirt, soft sweater or an over-sized button-down shirt can be sexy too.

Raid your closets for any other clothing, sexy heels, accessories and/or props you will need for your shoot.

  • BE SPOILED & PAMPERED

Take a nice bubble bath, shave and moisturize. Your skin will love you for it.

If you wax, please do so a few days before you shoot to avoid any bumpiness or redness.

Be sure to get a salon manicure and pedicure for a flawless finish.

Make sure your eyebrows are nicely shaped and groomed.

The day before your shoot – Enjoy a relaxed, quiet evening and plan for a good night’s sleep. Eight hours is ideal.

  • PREP & PACK A BAG

Try on your outfits and lingerie to make sure they fit properly.

Remove ALL price tags, size & care labels from clothing, especially from lingerie and panties. They can totally ruin otherwise amazing photos.

Double-check that everything is properly packed and ready for your shoot: heels, jewelry, accessories, props.

Stuff it all in a bag the night before and leave it by the door for when you’re ready to run.

  • OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS

Drink plenty of water for luminous skin.

Lower your salt intake and avoid alcohol if you’re worried about retaining water.

Stay out of the sun – a base tan looks nice in photos, red, blotchy skin does not. Please do NOT Spray Tan.

    Use clear deodorant please.

Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the location without stressing.

Wear comfortable clothing to your session to avoid any red marks on your skin (no jeans, tight socks or tight clothing please).

Eat something light but filling before you leave the house.

Most importantly: Take a deep breath and Relax – WE GOT YOU!
